Inspired By Excellence & Innovation
Logos Tutoring℠ has 2 classifications of subjects: those for which we always have tutors available, and those for which we may have tutors available. We have slightly different procedures for each category.
Continuous Availability
For subjects with continuous availability, the student or the student’s parent should look at the tutoring packages available, and decide which package is right for them. Once the student or the student’s parent (if the student is under 18) has selected the package, then he/she fills out the Information Sheet/Tutoring Contract. We cannot offer tutoring services without a completed Information Sheet and a signed Tutoring Contract. There is an electronic signature line. (We do not accept signatures of students under 18.) A Logos Tutoring employee will call the student or student’s parent within 48 hours to discuss the tutoring plan. Payment is only received after both parties are satisfied that the client’s needs can be met by Logos Tutoring. At that time, payment will be taken and the first session will be booked. For the in-person sessions, we serve the greater Houston metroplex. Locations are wherever is convenient for the student; however. certain locations, such as the Woodlands, may have a mileage surcharge. Call for rates if you are outside of Beltway 8. For the online sessions, we serve anyone located within the United States or Canada.
Or, if the student or student’s parent prefers, call Logos Tutoring at (713) 927-7599 for more information.

The day before:
It is recommended that you confirm your appointment with Logos Tutoring by phone (713) 927-7599, text or email info@tutoringenterprises.com 24 hours before the session.
The day of the session:
Please be reachable by home phone, cell phone, or text on the day of, and near the time of the Logos Tutoring session, online or in person. The Logos TutorSM may be stuck in traffic, may have trouble getting into a complex’s gate, or have other issues that require communication with the student. In the experience of Logos Tutoring, if the student cannot be reached by cell or home phone prior to the scheduled session, it usually indicates that the student has forgotten about the session and/or will not show up. Nonetheless, the Logos TutorSM will show up as scheduled, in compliance with our student no-show and lateness policies.
For our online sessions (Zoom, Skype, Facetime, etc.), the tutor will normally send the online information for the session approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
The tutoring session (online or in person)
Logos Tutoring finds that a well-prepared student gets more benefit out of the tutoring session than an unprepared one. Preparation generally means making a good-faith effort to try to understand the material, having questions prepared, and being organized. Students should have their books on hand, and whatever ancillary materials such as calculators or internet access that may be needed.
Logos Tutors are experts in their field of study. They should be able to answer most student questions; however, it may sometimes be necessary for the tutor to refresh his/her recollection from the book or a research resource on a particular point. We ask for your patience in such instances.
Logos Tutors are trained to make the student do the work. We have found through extensive research that when students do the work themselves, they are much more likely to remember what they learned, instead of just watching someone else do the work for them. Therefore, the student should not expect to sit there and have the Logos TutorSM do the work for him or her.
Completion of the session
Upon completion of the session, the tutor will have the student sign a log stating that the student has received tutoring services. The signature by the student doesn’t signify anything else other than that tutoring session, online or in-person, actually took place.
After the session
Let us know how we did. We have an online evaluation form that only takes a couple of minutes to fill out. We appreciate your feedback, and plus you get to give us your two cents worth! Leave something for posterity, as we act on the information you provide in your evaluations of us. Help us to do even better.
