USER AGREEMENT Please review and, if applicable, confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following provisions:

  1. BILLING. All appointments are paid when booked, not on the session day. At this time, we accept only debit and credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
  2. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULINGS AND NO-SHOW BY STUDENT POLICIES. Cancellations and reschedulings are accepted by telephone or text (no email cancellations accepted) and only at the central Logos Tutoring office number: (713) 927-7599. No cancellations may be made with an individual Logos Tutor except as stated above. For refund/credit calculation purposes, cancellations and reschedulings are effective as of the date/time of receipt in Logos Tutoring’s telephone, email, or text Inbox. As a courtesy to the Logos Tutor assigned for a particular tutoring session, online or in person, we recommend also that the individual Logos Tutor be notified by the student of the cancellation or rescheduling requested. 4-day (or greater than 96-hour) notice: Any appointment that is canceled or rescheduled with 4 or more days notice receives either a full refund for a cancellation or a full credit for a rescheduling. Any appointment that is rescheduled or canceled between 4 days and 24 hours before the appointment receives a 50% refund for a cancellation, or a 50% credit for a rescheduling. Less than 24-hour notice: No refunds are offered for student cancellations with less than 24-hour notice or student No-Shows, and no credits are offered for student reschedulings with less than 24-hour notice.
  3. TUTOR NO-SHOWS/CANCELLATIONS. If the tutor no-shows, the student has the option of a full refund or a make-up session and an additional free session. The same cancellation rules as for the student (above) apply to Logos Tutor, except that his obligation is extra tutoring time offered at no charge. As an example, if the Logos Tutor is forced to reschedule an appointment say 36 hours before the session, it owes the student a half-session (50%) extra time at no additional charge.
  4. LOCATIONS AND TIMES. We offer flexible days/times to meet the needs of our students. However, it is not always possible to get your first choice for dates/times. If Logos Tutoring is not able to meet your scheduling needs, any monies received will be promptly refunded. We also offer flexible locations for tutoring. However, locations outside of Beltway 8 may be subject to a mileage surcharge. If you live outside the Beltway, please call Logos Tutoring at (713) 927-7599 to get information on any mileage surcharges that may apply to a particular location. Online sessions may be booked for any mutually convenient time for the tutor and the student.
  5. LATENESS. The party who is traveling for the convenience of the other party, usually the tutor, has a 15-minute grace period. The party for whose convenience the location was arranged, usually the student, does not. If the location is mutually convenient, a grace period does not apply. If the student is late (after the grace period, if applicable), he/she loses those minutes. If the tutor is late, he will owe the student the extra time by which he was late, either in that session or at a later time, in addition to the originally booked hours. After 15 minutes have passed with no communications from the non-arriving party, a presumption of a no-show exists, which can be rebutted through telephone or text contact by the late party. If the late party does not make telephone contact within 15 minutes after the scheduled tutoring time, the on-time party is free to depart. The No-Show policies then apply.
  6. TUTORING SESSION LENGTHS. Most tutoring sessions have a 2-hour minimum, except where otherwise stated in a specific plan, in which case there is a 1-hour minimum. Thus, even if a student finishes his work in less time, the same billing rate applies. The tutor will notify the student when the 2- hour mark (or the 1-hour mark for specified plans) has been reached. If the student wants to extend the session length, he/she may do so if the tutor has time, but the student is thus authorizing additional payment on the original billing card for the extra time required.
  7. SATISFACTION GUARANTEES. We guarantee that you will be satisfied with our service. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, upon completion of a Refund Request Form, you will receive a full refund on your card.  The satisfaction guarantee does not apply to cancellations, reschedulings, or student no-shows, however.
  8. GROUP DISCOUNTS. Discounts are available for groups. The rates depend on the number of students participating. Current group rates if you want to use the group service. All participating group members must pre-pay to utilize the group discounts. The 2-hour minimum applies to each group member. One of our most popular group options is the 2 for 1 special, where 2 students can attend the tutorial for the price of 1 student.
